The GAGGA team is growing and we are thrilled about it! Meet the three brilliant addition to our team and join us in welcoming them!
Maria Florencia Tinnirello, Donor Engagement Officer
Florencia is a feminist activist with a passion for harnessing the power of partnerships and transdisciplinary approaches to generate sustainable change for structurally excluded girls, women, and LGBTQ+. She has over 9 years of experience working in the non-profit sector, designing and implementing mission-driven fundraising strategies to foster long-term financial sustainability. Proficient in systems thinking, Florencia’s practice is grounded in authentic relationships and cultivating ecosystems that create the conditions for systems transformation.
She is a certified Project Manager by PM4NGOs, with a proven track record in implementing all phases of the project lifecycle focusing on human rights promotion and community development, introducing agile methodologies, and an intersectional-based analysis. Divergent thinker and change advocate, she appreciates the importance of building lasting relationships, and adopting a collaborative, courageous, and innovative approach to working with diverse stakeholders to achieve powerful change and improvement. She has lived and worked in Southeast Asia, South and Central America, and the United States.
Ana Paula Tessarini, Operations and Finance Officer
Ana Paula Tessarini is a feminist with a Finance and Administration background. Prior to GAGGA, she worked at Rainforest Alliance Brasil, dealing with all financial, accounting, and human resources procedures through six years. Her career is a testament to her dedication, not only to financial acumen but also to fostering inclusivity and equity in every sphere of her work. When she’s not strategizing and managing projects, you’ll find her energizing her life through physical activities—an ardent fitness enthusiast who believes in the power of a healthy body and mind.
At home, she’s the proud and loving owner of Nutella, a charming dog who adds an extra dose of joy to her daily routine.
Alicia A. Wallace, Linking and Learning Consultant
Alicia A. Wallace (she/her) is a queer Black feminist, gender specialist, and writer from and based in The Bahamas. She is the founder of Equality Bahamas, a feminist organization which promotes women’s and LGBTQI+ people’s rights as human rights, and she is steadfast in her advocacy and community engagement toward creating peaceful, equitable feminist futures.
Alicia has worked with funders, civil society organizations, and activists on a range of issues and capacity building initiatives including sector mapping, post-legislative scrutiny, youth engagement, and innovation labs. She is excited by opportunities to bring people together to share their expertise, experiences, ideas, and solutions. Imagination is her most treasured tool and experimentation is one of her favorite practices.
Cool weather delights Alicia, and she enjoys reading, writing, doing puzzles, learning new skills, and drinking black tea. Ice cream is important, and the only answer to warm weather is frequent ocean dips.
