December 2021 | Introducing our new animation

Women, girls, trans, intersex and non-binary people across the world are playing a bold role in calling for urgent climate action and promoting locally-based approaches to climate issues. They often do so while defending their land and natural resources at great risk to their lives and that of their communities.

On Human Rights Day, we want to uplift their innovative strategies to respond to these risks. We also see the importance in continuing to provide the resources and non-financial support needed by women, girls, trans, intersex and non-binary environmental human rights defenders and the organizations they lead to effectively and safely conduct their important work. To better understand how we do this and who’s involved, we’re excited to share our new animation produced by Survival Media Agency and invite you to watch it.
