March 2022 | #WeWomenAreWater campaign + GAGGA at CSW66

Join us from International Women’s Day (March 8th) to World Water Day (March 22) to amplify the just climate solutions of women, girls, trans, intersex and non-binary people around the world. The Global Alliance for Green and Gender Action (GAGGA) and our partners will be posting stories on social media illustrating examples of these gender-just climate solutions and the urgent need for international financial institutions and climate funds to resource them.

This year the 66th session of the UN’s Commission on the Status of Women (CSW66) will address gender equality in the context of climate change and environmental degradation for the first time as its priority theme. GAGGA will host and participate in events at both the formal CSW66 UN space and at the NGO CSW Forum, where partner organisations, allies and governments will discuss gender-just climate solutions and how to better support them.
