MONES (Mongolian Women´s Fund)

MONES is the only fund in Mongolia that is fully dedicated to providing support to women’s NGOs and groups in the country. Our grants promote women’s human rights and aim at empowering women and increasing women’s participation in enhancement of the implementation of principles of justice, equality and transparency in local and national governance in order to advance women’s rights. Since its establishment, MONES has distributed nearly 1 million USD to 433 projects implemented by women’s organizations from all provinces and from capital city.

    MONES est le seul fonds pleinement consacré aux ONG et groupes de femmes en Mongolie. Nos subventions visent la promotion des droits des femmes et l’autonomisation des femmes ainsi que leur participation croissante à la mise en application des principes de justice, d’égalité et de transparence dans le cadre de la gouvernance nationale afin de mettre en avant les droits des femmes. Depuis sa création, MONES a distribué près d’un million de dollars à 433 projets, mis en œuvre par des organisations de femmes de toutes les provinces ainsi que de la capitale.

      MONES es el único fondo de Mongolia dedicado específicamente a brindar apoyo a las ONGS y grupos de mujeres en el país. Nuestros fondos promueven los derechos humanos de las mujeres y busca el empoderamiento de las mujeres e incrementar la participación de las mujeres en mejorar la implementación de los procesos de justicia, igualdad y transparencia en la gobernanza local y nacional para avanzar los derechos de las mujeres. Desde que se estableció, MONES ha distribuido casi 1 millón de dólares a 433 proyectos implementados por movimientos de mujeres de todas las provincias y de la capital.

      «Al integrarnos a GAGGA, MONES logramos aprender y compartir nuevas ideas y prácticas para la protección de los derechos de las mujeres afectadas por los cambios ambientales y empoderar a las mujeres a participar en las temáticas de justicia ambiental».
